Prime Minister Endowed He organizes local chemist MSD Hospital in Mpanda

Prime Minister Kassim Fate has opened a chemist of MSD (MSD) in Mpanda Municipal Hospital lililogharimu sh. 55 million litakalohudumia three regions of Kigoma, Katavi and Tabora.

The Prime Minister has opened the store of drugs of MSD, lies in a hospital Municipal Mpanda in Katavi Region yesterday (Tuesday, 17 January 2017) in implementation of the mandate that Jesus gave to MSD August 20, 2016 when he was in his first official visit in Katavi Region. MSD leadership Aliuagiuza build the shop in order to facilitate access to drugs in the region as well as neighboring regions.

In addition, the Prime Minister said after the shop opened by the Government does not expect to hear again in health centers and dispensaries contained in Katavi Region and neighboring provinces lack medicine. In other action, the Prime Minister has directed the Ministry of Health of Community Development, Gender elderly and children to meet the President's Office, Regional Administration and Local Government (Local Government) to find a better way to spend money to health care zinazipatikana councils in the country.

In addition, the Prime Minister said the government has offered sh. 1.5 billion for the start of construction of the hospital Katavi region to reduce congestion of patients at a hospital in the Municipality of Mpanda.

He said the aim of the Government is to have referral hospital in each region, thus, Katavi Region is among the new regions itakayojengwa Regional Hospital to move health services closer to citizens

For his part, General Director of MSD, Mr. Laurean Bwanakunu said the construction of the Mpanda shop until completion has cost sh. 55 million, while releasing sh CRDB bank. MSD 50 million and has set pharmaceutical and medical devices of sh. 104.45 million and ICT equipment of sh. five million.

He said the introduction of the store will increase the availability of drugs and medical devices for patients especially drugs that are not found in the list approved by the Government used in its centers offer health care, but approved and used in the World Health Organization (WHO).

He said drugs and medical devices in them in the list of the National Fund for Health Insurance (NHIF) are available in the store at an affordable price, thereby eliminating the inconvenience for patients to seek in stores far and expensive.
