COUNCIL Bariadi District Simiyu region, has begun a manhunt for visits to targeted beneficiaries Social Fund (TASAF) Phase Three.

More than 80 people have been arrested and taken to the police station custody for alleged graft Bariadi funds.

Referring to the presence of the press at his office yesterday, the Executive Director, Abdallah Malela said that a total of 80 households in the committee, celebration are being raised all the money & restore order.

He said he noted that 80 households were included in the project TASAF III by means of smuggled and take Sh 17.8 million.

"Is there really such a search, a total of 80 households were not worthy to be contained in this program, we made a new audit after instructions from the central government requiring us to revise the beneficiary, if they meet the criteria to be included in the program," explained Malela. He said these households were clear no parameters.

Letters were written since August this year, asking them not all of the money provided to them six months. He explained that after receiving the letter, no households even one that has begun to restore the funds.

This situation has led to the trapping of power. He stressed that the perpetrators will not be granted bail to all financial reversal.

"People who have not given bail until intercepted reversal state funds. Until today we have succeeded refunds amounting to 1.1 million shillings between 17.8 million, "explained Malela.

He said the search would continue for the entire council zirejeshwe until all the money, in order to be used for beneficiaries who were ordained in the program.

"Today is the third day we struggled to get bail, our mother has been arrested, said that getting bail to refund the entire amount that has been received. Since she started taking money TASAF owes 240,000 shillings, "said one child beneficiary, who declined to give his name.

Chairman of the district, who declined to give his name, said that they as local officials were deluged with letters from TASAF district, with the names of people who were on the program and are required to retain all funds due to not meeting the criteria.

"I received a letter with the names of people who should restore all the money they took from the start received, they said they did not deserve to be included in the program, many owe more than 200,000" said the Chairman.
