Ask Sefue appointed ambassador in Africa Peer Program Administrative

Tanzania vibrant diplomat who'll also be-White House Chief Secretary, Ambassador Ask Sefue has appointed Tanzania's first entry in the Panel of Celebrities in Africa Peer Program Administrative Bora (APRM).


According to the Executive Secretary of the APRM branch of Tanzania, Rehema Talib who attended the meetings of the African Union and APRM in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Ambassador Sefue been approved on the session on the Heads of State of the African Union who are members of the APRM held on Saturday Lunch.

"It was not easy to find this place. Many African countries brought their renowned names of people to enter into this important panel. Ambassador Sefue despite having distinguished service as a veteran diplomat was also strongly supported by the Government of Phase Five of Tanzania, "said the Executive Secretary.

APRM is a program of Africa rests with the Heads of the African Union with the aim of becoming the tool will help encourage member states to honor good governance and the provision of quality services in the economic, trade and social services for their citizens through a system of evaluation themselves and criticizing.

According to the website of the APRM, Celebrities Panel is an advanced tool to advise the Heads of Member States of the APRM in the operation of the program and oversees the entire process of evaluation.

Members of the panel which lasts up to four years recommended by their country after a long competitive process names that meets the criteria presented and approved by the session up in the APRM-Conference Heads of State and Government.

Tanzania is among 35 members out of 54 countries States AU and APRM total of twenty three and officially merged with the program since 2004.Tayari Tanzania ilishafanyiwa first evaluation of good governance and continues to implement the recommendations made.

During the meeting the Chairman of the Heads of State of the APRM President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya congratulated the members of the panel and Kuwata participate positively in the revived APRM to be the most significant value to Africa as they had hoped its founders women Thabo Mbeki, Olusegun Obasanjo, Benjamin Mkapa and others .

Ambassador Sefue will be joined by other new members who include Prof. Ibrahim Agboola Gambari (Nigeria), Ambassador Mona Omar Attia (Egypt) Bi. Fatma Zohra Karadia (Algeria), Bishop Don Dinis Sengulane Salomão (Mozambique) and Prof. Augustin Loada (Burkina Faso). Members of the former smokers include Prof. Youssouf Khayal (Chad) who will now become Chairman of the Panel and Brigitte Mabandla (South Africa), who will become vice chairman.

The conference also discussed the report of the assessment of the country in various areas of good governance in the countries of Kenya (as a second report to be submitted), Sudan, Chad, Senegal, Djibouti as well as report on the implementation of Zambia.
