While the Government continues to align the fight against drugs, the Prime Minister Kassim Fate has urged heads of regional and district kutotangaza names of suspects before the inquiry and assurance.

People who called the police station in Dar es Salaam, including politicians, big businessmen, religious leaders and artists were interviewed and searched some homes and their offices before getting tested.
Some of the suspects is the leader of the Church of the Resurrection and the Life, Bishop Josephat Gwajima, chairman of Chadema, Freeman Mbowe, a prominent businessman in the country, Yusuf Manji and artist star of the film, Wema Sepetu.
Inaugurating the National Council for Drug Control held the office of prime minister yesterday, Fate said governors have a good chance to participate in the battle for the principles and procedures comply with the law.

He said the government is determined to continue Phase Five to strengthen control of the fight against drugs in the country and it will be done without bullying or favor.
